Accident and Domestic Abuse Arrests in Oelwein

Oelwein police report a traffic accident that happened Tuesday evening, just before 7pm, at the intersection of East Charles and 3rd Avenue.

A car driven by Joan Moorman collided with a car driven by Nevin Lammers. No injuries were reported. Damages were estimed at $1500 to Moorman's car and $1800 to Lammers' vehicle.

An Oelwein man has been arrested on an assault charge. Just before 6am Wednesday, Oelwein police were called to a disturbance in the 100 block of 5th Avenue NW. There they arrested 23 year old Tyler Campbell for domestic abuse assault.

And 33 year old Joshua Levendusky of Oelwein was taken into custody last Thursday morning (May 28th) on a charge of domestic abuse assault, after police responded to a call of a disturbance in the ten block of 6th Avenue SE.
