2019 CV Sack Lunch Delivery – Thank You!

The staff here at Townsquare Media got together to enjoy a great sack lunch and help those in need.

The Northeast Iowa Food Bank hosted the 2019 spring edition of the Cedar Valley Sack Lunch Delivery on Thursday and Friday. We had a delicious lunch, and it felt good to suport a great organization like the Northeast Iowa Food Bank! Kudos, if your work-place participated as well. For every lunch sold during the Sack Lunch Delivery, the Northeast Iowa Food Bank is able to provide up to 32 meals to those who are hungry in northeast Iowa.

“We are excited to partner with our donors and volunteers to provide lunch to Cedar Valley organizations and businesses,” stated Barbara Prather, the Executive Director of the Northeast Iowa Food Bank. “The Cedar Valley Sack Lunch Delivery allows the Northeast Iowa Food Bank to show our appreciation for local organizations and business, while also helping northeast Iowans in need. We sincerely appreciate the partnership we have with local organizations and businesses in helping us fight hunger.”

The Northeast Iowa Food Bank provides nutritious food and grocery products to about 200 non-profit organizations and programs. Last year, the Food Bank distributed 6.7 million meals of food.
