Young Burglars Charged in Convenience Store Break-ins
Two juveniles have now been charged with breaking into 2 convenience stores in Chickasaw and Howard Counties earlier this month.
On January 2nd, the Chickasaw County Sheriff received a report that there was a break-in at the A.V. Convenience Store in Alta Vista.
A few days later, the Howard County Sheriff was called to a similar burglary at the Elma Express, in Elma.
As a result of the investigation, 2 juveniles are being charged with a list of charges, including Burglary 3rd Degree, Theft-2nd Degree, Criminal Mischief-2nd and 3rd Degree, Conspiracy to Commit Burglary, and Possession of Stolen Property.
Both juveniles were referred to juvenile court services.
Their names have not been released.
