An SUV has done some damage to a Northeast Iowa cemetery, after it went out of control on icy roads.

The accident happened shortly 8 a.m. Thursday (Jan. 26, 2017) in the 1300 block of U.S. Highway 63, just southwest of Frederika.

A vehicle driven by 30 year old Kayln Boge-Kleiss of Fredericksburg was headed south on 63, when she lost control due to the road conditions, Bremer County sheriff's officials said. The vehicle left the road and slid into Alcock Cemetery, located on the west side of the highway.

No one was injured, but there was some damage to several headstones in the cemetery.

The accident was investigated by the Bremer County Sheriff.
