Two Truck Accident in Fayette County Injures 2

Two people were taken to the hospital Sunday evening (Aug. 19), from injuries they sustained in a Fayette County accident.

According to the sheriff's office, it happened at about 6:30pm at the intersection of 50th Street and "E" Avenue, south of Arlington.

A truck driven by 43 year old Kenneth Taylor of Strawberry Point, failed to yield to the driver on the right at the uncontrolled intersection, colliding with a truck driven by 23 year old Colton Janssen of Arlington. Janssen's truck rolled into the ditch.

Two people were taken to the Manchester hospital for treatment; both vehicles were totaled.

Taylor was charged with Failure to Yield to the Right.
