Two Arrests in Waucoma Drug Bust
Following the weekend search of a home in rural Waucoma, Fayette County authorities have arrested two Northeast Iowa residents on several drug charges.
The Fayette County Sheriff conducted the search Friday at about 7:45pm, at a home on Johnsons Mill Road near Waucoma.
During the search, officers seized a number of illegal substances and paraphernalia items.
As a result, 64 year old Terry Langerman of Waucoma was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana 3rd Offense, Gathering Where Marijuana is Used, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
48 year old Tonia Putney of Charles City was also taken into custody, on the charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Marijuana First Offense, and Gathering Where Marijuana is being used.
Both were taken to the Fayette County jail, and held until their initial court appearance. More charges may be forthcoming.
The Fayette County Sheriff was assisted by the Iowa State Patrol.
