WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) — Several people testifying in the trial of an Iowa woman accused of killing her husband and his girlfriend more than 30 years ago have said the woman made threats against the two before their murders.

Neighbors, former coworkers and others testified Monday in the case against 54-year-old Theresa Supino, who was arrested in March in connection to the 1983 slayings of Steven Fisher and Melisa Gregory. Their bodies were found on the Copper Dollar Ranch northwest of Newton.

Lorri French, who previously worked with Supino, says she remembers Supino making threats against Gregory.

Sandra Cupples, a friend of Gregory, says she recalls Gregory and Supino fighting at a bar before the murders, with Fisher using a crowbar to stop others from intervening.
