All aboard the Santa Express! Iowa's version of the Polar Express is getting ready to kick off its 2022 holiday season!

Every year, the Boone & Scenic Valley Railroad hosts a series of holiday train rides called the Santa Express. The rides are very popular and have become a tradition for families across the state of Iowa. The official website reads:

This year's Santa Express will run Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from November 25th through December 18th. The only time available on Fridays is 6 p.m., but Saturday has rides at 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., 3:30 p.m., and 6 p.m., and Sunday has them at 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3:30 p.m. It's recommended  that you arrive 45 minutes to an hour before your reservation time.
