Suspicious Vehicle Report Leads to Arrest

A report of a suspicious vehicle near Elgin, has resulted in the arrest of a Randalia woman.

Just before 2:30pm Tuesday (Aug. 14), the Fayette County Sheriff received a report of a suspicious vehicle that was parked in a driveway outside of Elgin.

A Fayette County deputy, sent out to investigate, found out that 63 year old Vivian Crawford had stopped to rest along the road; however, she was intoxicated.

Crawford was arrested for OWI; she was held in the Fayette County jail until her initial court appearance.
