There are so many different events to celebrate beer and hard seltzers right around the corner. One exciting beer fest is coming to the Cedar Valley!

The Feelin' Sour?  Sour Beer & Cider Festival will feature beers from more than 30 different breweries and and cideries (yes that's a real word apparently) from all across the Hawkeye State.

At this Waterloo event you'll be able to try samples from the different regional and national brewers that are participating. The celebration of sour beers will take place on Saturday, July 9th at the River Loop Expo Plaza in Waterloo from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

Tickets are officially on sale now!

VIP tickets are $50 and will get you in an hour early to the event.

General Admission tickets are $40.

Several new spots opened last year in Cedar Falls. A take-out-friendly restaurant called  Carter House opened right next to the Black Hawk Hotel. In addition, a restaurant located in the same spot as Santa's Workshop in Cedar Falls just opened its doors, it's called Georges.
