Those who frequently shop in Dubuque's Asbury Plaza, or those who have driven parallel to it along the Northwest Arterial, have likely noticed the emergence of a bright orange marquee over the last several weeks. Façade upgrades on the newest store in one of Dubuque's largest strip malls are nearing completion.

From new stores in Kennedy Mall to the announcement that a Noodles & Company will be coming to Dubuque in the near future, it's been a bustling year for the Key City. Those who are active outdoors are going to be primed to hear what store Asbury Plaza is slated to welcome before year's end.

In late June, a building permit was filed for nearly $500,000 of work for the new storefront. Sierra Trading Post has approximately 85 locations in 29 states; five locations in Wisconsin and another five in Illinois are set to open in the near future as well.
