Rollover Accident Due to Weather Conditions
Adverse weather conditions were a factor in a one-car rollover in Fayette County.
Just before 2pm Saturday (Jan. 14), the Fayette County Sheriff was alerted of a single vehicle rollover accident in the 22,000 block of 40th Street, between Oelwein and Oran.
A vehicle driven by 41 year old Kristin Curtis of Denver, Iowa, was eastbound, when she lost control due to weather conditions. The car entered a ditch, where it rolled onto the passenger side.
No one was injured, and there was $3,000 damage to the 2005 Honda Accord.
The sheriff was assisted by Mercy Ambulance, Oran Fire, and Iowa DNR.
