Pickup Rear-ends Car in Rural Fayette County

The Fayette County Sheriff is investigating a 2 vehicle accident south of Arlington.

It happened at about 6:30pm Wednesday (Dec. 13) at the intersection of Highway 187 and 50th Street.

A car driven by 18 year old Laine Woltz of Arlington was stopped to wait for oncoming traffic, before making a left turn. A pickup driven by 21 year old Adam Fliehler of Arlington failed to stop, rearending Woltz's car.

No one was hurt, but there was $4500 in damage to Woltz's 2004 Chrysler Sebring and $1000 damage to Fliehler's 2009 Chevrolet Silverado.
