Pentatonix & Girl Named Tom are Headed to Iowa This Holiday Season
When it comes to acapella groups, nobody does it quite like Pentatonix!
This holiday season, Pentatonix will embark on their 22-stop 'A Christmas Spectacular' tour, which they've dubbed their "BIGGEST CHRISTMAS TOUR EVER!" The group will hit the road in November, eventually finding their way to Des Moines in December. The Iowa show will take place at Wells Fargo Arena on Thursday, December 8th at 7 p.m.
Along with the tour announcement comes a new album from Pentatonix titled Holidays Around the World. The group has released a number of Christmas albums in the past, the latest of which, Evergreen, arrived just last year! There is no track list just yet, but the first song from the album called "Prayers for this World" will be available on when the album goes up for pre-order on Friday. The group's Facebook post promises "more surprises to come later this week…"
Pentatonix also revealed the opening act for their tour, a group that fans of The Voice are definitely familiar with... Girl Named Tom! The folk trio won season 21 of the singing competition show as members of Team Kelly, and were the first trio in the show's history to come out on top. The group is made up of three siblings, Bekah Grace, Joshua, and Caleb, and they're well known for their stunning harmonies and amazing covers.
According to the Des Moines Register, tickets for the Wells Fargo Arena show will go on sale this Friday, September 23rd at 10 a.m. on Hy-VeeTix.com. You can get more information on the concert HERE.
