Standing at 6’6 and weighing 235 pounds, Trashaun Willis is a two-time "All-State Linebacker", he's good. He's also plays quarterback for his high school football team, he's VERY good at that too. Oh, by the way, did I mention he was born with only one arm?

Willis is having a fantastic senior season at Washington High School in Washington, Iowa, in the far southeast part of the state. The Demons are 4-0 overall, 2-0 in the district and ranked 5th in the latest Iowa High School Football Rankings. This past Friday night, Willis and his team beat the Mt. Pleasant Panthers 41-27. Willis had a part in all six touchdowns, he threw for three TD's and ran for three himself.

His pure athletic ability and love for sports are not going unnoticed. This past summer, Loras College offered him a scholarship to play football.

This isn't Willis' first brush with fame, as an eighth-grader a video of him dunking during a basketball game was a viral sensation.

Willis has dreams of playing sports at the collegiate level and possibly the next. It wouldn't be unprecedented, Willis shares the same disability (amniotic band syndrome) with Shaquem Griffin. Griffin played in college and made it to the NFL in 2018, playing for the Seattle Seahawks the past two years. (Griffin is currently listed on their practice squad) With Willis's determination, I wouldn't be surprised if we see him in the NFL someday.
