Oelwein Police Host Veterans’ Home Fundraiser

The Oelwein Police Department is having a fundraising event tonight (Thursday, Sept. 21)  for the Iowa Veterans' Home.

The police department, in cooperation with the Oelwein Chamber and Area Development, will have a "Party in the Park" from 5pm to 8pm at the Oelwein Plaza Park.

The party will be held from 5pm to 8pm, with live music, food, beverages, games for kids and adults, and door prizes. Plus there will be a silent auction on some sports memorabilia.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Iowa Veterans Home.
