Robert W. Steifner, 94, of Oelwein and formerly of Rockford, Ill., died Sunday, Sept. 19. Burial will be at Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery in Rockford. Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home of Oelwein is assisting the family.

Services for Delbert R. “Del” Borchardt, 82, of Riceville, are Saturday, Sept. 25 at 10:30 AM at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Riceville. Burial in the church cemetery, where military honors will be rendered by Riceville American Legion Post 244. Visitation is Friday from 4 to 7 PM Hindt-Hudek Funeral Home in Riceville and Saturday one hour prior to services at the church.

Visitation is Sunday from 4 to 7 PM at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in Elma with a 3:30 PM rosary and 7 PM scriptural wake service. Visitation also held one hour before services at the church.
