Cathy Schabacker, 71, of Winthrop, died Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held Monday at 11 AM at the Church of Christ United in Winthrop. Private burial will be held at a later date. In place of a traditional visitation, the family is welcoming relatives and friends to Schabaker’s home for a walk-through viewing of her Department 56 Snow Village. Fawcett-Schmitz Funeral Home in Winthrop is in charge of arrangements.

Services for Eldon Ingamells, 87, of Stanley are Monday, Dec. 27 at 10:30 AM at Stanley Union Church in Stanley. Burial at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, rural Oelwein. Visitation is Sunday from 3 PM to 6 PM at Geilenfeld-Buehner Funeral Home in Oelwein, with services by the Hebron Masonic Lodge of Oelwein starting at 6 PM.

Services for James “Jim” Learn, 71, of Denver are Tuesday, Dec. 28 at 10:30 AM at Messiah Lutheran Church in Janesville with military rites performed at the church by the Acker-Matthias American Legion Honor Guard of Denver following services. Burial at East Clermont Lutheran Cemetery in Clermont at a later date. Visitation is Monday from 4 PM to 7 PM at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Denver and Tuesday for one hour prior to the services at the church.

Visitation is Sunday from 4 PM to 7 PM at the funeral home with a 3:30 PM Rosary and Scriptural Wake Service immediately following the Rosary. Visitation continues Monday for one hour prior to the services, also at the funeral home.
