Services for Mary Jean Hemesath, 85, of Ryan, are Thursday, Oct. 28 at 6 PM at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Manchester. Private family inurnment at a later date. Visitation is Thursday from 3 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home.

Services for Peter Shepherd, 55, of Waverly, are Friday, Oct. 29 at 10 AM at Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Waverly. Burial at Harlington Cemetery, also in Waverly, following services. Visitation is Thursday from 4 PM to 8 PM and Friday one hour prior to the start of services at the church. Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly is assisting the family.

Services for Joanne Burreson, 84, of Decorah, are Saturday, Oct. 30 at 10 AM at Schluter-Balik Funeral Home in Decorah. Visitation follows the services until noon.

A Celebration of Life for Gerald "Jerry" Arndt, 62, of Osage, will be held Saturday, Oct. 30 from 11 AM to 3 PM at V.F.W Post 7920 in Osage. Family has requested that those attending to dress casual and wear KISS or Minnesota Vikings clothing. Champion Funeral Home of Osage is in charge of arrangements.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Ardes J. King, 90, of Lawler, will be held Saturday, Oct. 30 at 11 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Lawler. Burial at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery, also in Lawler. Visitation is Friday from 4 PM to 8 PM at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in New Hampton, with a 3:30 PM Rosary and 8 PM Scriptural Wake Service. Visitation is also Saturday for one hour prior to the start of the funeral mass at the church.
