Services for a Manchester man, 93 year old John Tegeler, are Saturday at 12:30pm at St. Mary Catholic church in Manchester. Burial with military rites in the church cemetery. Visitation is 3-7pm Friday at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester.

Services for a Garnavillo woman, 91 year old Shirley Wirkler, are Saturday at 10:30am at the Gospel Hall. Friends may call 4-8pm Friday at Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Garnavillo.

Services for a Waterloo woman, 87 year old Nannette "Nan" Thies, are Friday at 10:30am at Good Shepherd Lutheran church in Waterloo. Burial in Mt. Vernon Township cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Denver and an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for a former Strawberry Point man, 86 year old Duane Schroeder of Dyersville, are Saturday at 2pm at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Arlington, with military honors. Inurnment at a later date at Grandview cemetery in Fayette. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at the funeral home, and an hour before services Saturday.

Services for a Postville man, 90 year old Emmett Kruger, are Saturday at 11am at Salem United Church of Christ in rural Waukon. Burial in Salem cemetery. Friends may call 4-7pm Friday at the church. Martin Grau funeral home in Waukon is handling the arrangements.

A Strawberry Point woman, 73 year old Nancy Lou Davis, died Monday. A private family graveside service will be held Wednesday at the Edgewood cemetery. Leonard Muller funeral home in Strawberry Point is assisting the family.

A celebration of life for a Nashua woman, 79 year old Marlys Sinnwell, will be held Friday at 1pm at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Friends may call 4-7pm Thursday at Hugeback Johnson funeral home-Olson chapel in Nashua, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Waucoma man, 84 year old James Balk, are Wednesday at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic church in Waucoma. Burial in St. Rose cemetery in rural Waucoma. Friends may call 4-7pm Tuesday at the church, with a 4pm rosary and 6:30pm scripture service, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a former Nashua woman, 86 year old Joan Litchfield of Charles City, are Wednesday at 11am at St. Michael's Catholic church in Nashua. Burial in Calvary cemetery in Charles City. Friends may call 4-7pm Tuesday (today) at Hugeback Johnson funeral home-Olson Chapel in Nashua with a 7pm scripture and an hour before services at the funeral home.

An Oelwein woman, 66 year old June Griffith, died August 16th. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, starting at 1pm at the north shelter of Oelwein City Park. Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein is assisting the family.

An Elma woman, 98 year old Velma Kutzbach, died Saturday. Services are pending at Conway Markham funeral home in Elma.

Services for an Independence woman, 76 year old Linda Hearn, are Tuesday (today) at St. John's Catholic church in Independence. Burial in the church cemetery. White funeral home in Independence is in charge of arrangements.

A former Cresco woman, 91 year old Ethelyn Menees of Solon, died Thursday. A private graveside service will be held today (Tuesday). A public celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hindt Hudek funeral home in Cresco is helping the family.

Services for a Monona woman, 86 year old Dorothy Heins, are Saturday at 10:30am at United Methodist church in Monona. Inurnment in Monona cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona, and an hour before services at the church.
