A Decorah woman, 93-year-old Naomi Hruska formerly of Lawler, died Tuesday at Wellington Place Assisted Living in Decorah. Funeral arrangements are pending with Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in New Hampton.

A Lawler woman, 71-year-old Mary Ellen Speltz, died Tuesday at her home. Funeral arrangements are pending at Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in Lawler.

A Mass of Christian Burial for a Nashua woman, 86-year-old Della Lucille Johnson, will be held at 10:30 AM Friday at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Ionia. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may greet the family Friday one hour prior to the Mass at the church. Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home - Olson Chapel in Nashua is in charge of arrangements.

A Mass of Christian Burial for a St. Lucas woman, 91-year-old Geneva Kuennen, will be held at 11 AM Thursday at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in St. Lucas. Burial will be in St. Luke’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 PM Wednesday at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in St. Lucas, and also after 10:00 AM Thursday at the church. Schluter – Balik Funeral Home in Decorah is handling arrangements.

Funeral services for an Independence woman, 96-year-old Kathleen M. “Kay” Sanders, will be held at 1:30 PM Friday at White Funeral Home in Independence, with burial will in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in Hazleton. Friends may call for visitation one hour before services at the funeral home.

Funeral services for a Decorah man, 45-year-old Kalen Jacobsen, will be held at 11 AM Saturday at First Lutheran Church in Decorah. Burial will be in the West Union Cemetery, following the luncheon. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 PM on Friday and also after 10 AM Saturday, both at the church. Schluter – Balik Funeral Home in Decorah is handling arrangements.
