Sept. 23 funeral announcements

Services for a Lawler man, 78 year old Larry Benz, are Monday at 2pm at Saude Jerico Lutheran church. Burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call an hour before the service at the church. Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home in New Hampton is handling the arrangements.

A Harpers Ferry woman, 79 year old Margaret Delaney, died Monday. A private family service will be held. Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home in Lansing is assisting the family with arrangements.

A Decorah woman, 92 year old Ethel Ellingson, died Sunday. The graveside service is Friday at 2pm at Canoe Ridge Lutheran Cemetery in Decorah. Schluter-Balik Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

A public graveside service for a Colesburg woman, 92 year old Gilda Miller, is Friday at 10:30am at Brown Cemetery in Colesburg. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30 to 10:15am, prior to burial at the cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Tuecke-Allen Funeral Home in Guttenberg.

A Waverly man, 85 year old Alan Hagen, died Monday. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date, with inurnment in Harlington Cemetery in Waverly. Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly is assisting the family.

An Independence woman, 72 year old Pamela Carlson, died Friday. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date. White Funeral Home in Independence is in charge of arrangements.

A McGregor man, 73 year old Richard Connell, died September 6th. A graveside service with military rites will be held Saturday at 1pm at Pleasant Grove cemetery in McGregor. Thornburg Grau funeral home in McGregor is assisting the family.
