An Elma woman, 90 year old Helen Ries, died Wednesday; services are pending at Conway Markham funeral home in Elma.

A Celebration of Life for an Independence man, 60 year old Douglas Faust, will be Friday, 11am to 2pm at the American Legion Hall in Independence. Visitation is 4-8pm Thursday at White Funeral home in Independence. Burial in Mt. Hope cemetery.

Services for a Charles City man, 81 year old Richard Wynn, are Saturday at 2:30pm at The Bridge Church in Charles City. Burial in Sunnyside Memory Gardens in rural Charles City. Visitation is 6-8pm Friday at the church, and an hour before services.

Services for a Hawkeye man, 58 year old Walter "Wally" Herman, are Friday at 10:30am at Trinity Lutheran church in Hawkeye. Burial in Hawkeye cemetery with military rites. Visitation is 4-8pm Thursday at the church Fellowship Hall, and an hour before services at the church. Becker Milnes funeral home in Hawkeye is assisting the family.

Services for a former Denver woman, 86 year old Dorothy "Dot" Silber of Kansas City, Missouri, Saturday at 11am at St. Peter Lutheran church in Denver. Burial in Oak Hill cemetery in Nashua. Visitation is from 9am until service time at the church. Kaiser Corson funeral home in Denver is in charge of arrangements.
