Sept. 18, funeral announcements

Funeral services for a former Denver woman, 85-year-old Jean Ellen Robe of Cedar Rapids, will be held at Noon Friday at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Denver. Burial will be held in Fair Cemetery, also in Denver. Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 AM to Noon at the funeral home.

An Ionia man, 84-year-old Edwin Joseph Copper, died on Tuesday at Linn Haven Rehab in Healthcare in New Hampton. Funeral arrangements are pending with Conway-Markham Funeral Home of New Hampton.

A Fredericksburg woman, 94-year-old Betty Volker, died Tuesday at Community Memorial Hospital in Sumner. Funeral arrangements are pending at Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory in Fredericksburg.

Funeral services for a Waverly man, 30-year-old Jonathan “Jon” Lyle Birt, will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM at Life Church in Waverly, with burial to follow in Harlington Cemetery, also in Waverly. Visitation is scheduled on Thursday from 4 to 6 PM at Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home

Services for an Osage man, 84 year old Eugene Wilde, are Saturday at 10:30am at St. John's Lutheran church, west of Osage. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 5-8pm Friday at Champion Bucheit funeral home in Osage.
