A Strawberry Point woman, 85 year old Marilyn Hartman, died Monday. There will be no public services. Inurnment in Taylorsville cemetery in Arlington. Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Arlington is assisting the family.

Services for a Manchester man, 81 year old Carl Heims, are Monday at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic church in Manchester. Burial with military rites in the church cemetery. Visitation is 2-7pm Sunday at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester, with a 1:30pn scripture service, and 9am to 10am Monday at the funeral home.

An Oelwein woman, 97 year old Julia Tallman, died Monday. A private family service will be held. It will be recorded and posted on the Jamison Schmitz funeral home website and Facebook page. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery.

Services for a Sumner woman, 79 year old Marlys Fober, are Friday at 2pm at the United Methodist church in Fredericksburg. Burial in Greenwood cemetery in Nashua. Friends may call an hour before services at the church. Hugeback Johnson funeral home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.

An Alta Vista man, 23 year old Dustin Ruth, died Sunday. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Bridge church in Charles City. Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial services for a Waverly man, 78 year old Ronald Shaw, are Saturday at 11am at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly. Burial in Harlington cemetery, with military honors. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at the funeral home.

A rural Independence man, 88 year old Alfred Beatty, died Monday. A private family visitation is Wednesday (today) and a private funeral service will be held Thursday, both at White funeral home in Independence. Burial in Mt. Hope cemetery.

Memorial services for a former Oelwein man, 82 year old Robert "Bob" Cardin of Kerrville, Texas, are Saturday at 2pm at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein. A family visitation will be 3-7pm Saturday at the funeral home, with a public Masonic service at 7pm.

Services for a Waukon man, 85 year old Jim Johnson, are Saturday at 3pm at First Baptist church in Waukon. Private burial with military honors will be in Oakland cemetery. Friends may call from 1:30pm until service time Saturday at the church. Martin Grau funeral home in Waukon is handling arrangements.
