Oct. 23 funeral announcements

A former Cresco man, 61 year old Robert Roman of Anamosa, died Monday; memorial services will be held later this year. Lindstrom funeral home in Cresco is assisting the family.

A Celebration of Life service for a Fayette woman, 81 year old Joanne Holtzman, are Friday at 10:30am at Becker Milnes funeral Chapel in Fayette. Visitation is an hour before services at the funeral home.

Services for an Elma woman, 89 year old Wilma Gesell, are Saturday at 11am at St. Peter's Lutheran church in Elma. Burial in Howard cemetery in Elma. Visitation is 9:30-11am Saturday at the church.

A Celebration of Life for a Sumner woman, 76 year old Lou Wiedrich, will be 1-5pm Saturday at Meadowbrook Country Club in Sumner. Becker Milnes funeral home in Sumner is assisting the family.

Memorial services for an Elma resident, 93 year old Alma Schroeder, are Saturday at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Church in Elma. Burial in Calvary cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at Conway Markham funeral home in Elma, with a 4:30pm Rosary and 7pm scriptural wake service. Visitation is also an hour before services at the funeral home.

A Fairbank man, 70 year old Allen "Bugs" Cushion, died October 6th. A visitation and Celebration of Life will be held Saturday from 10am to 12pm at Woods funeral home in Fairbank. Inurnment in Fairbank cemetery.

Services for a Clear Lake man, 94 year old Hilmer Korth, formerly of Sullivan, Wisconsin, are Friday at 10:30am at St. Peter Lutheran church in Elma. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at the church, and an hour before services. Another service will be held Monday at 1pm at St. John's Lutheran church in Sullivan, Wisconsin, with visitation an hour before the service. Burial in St. Stephen's Lutheran cemetery in Watertown, Wisconsin.

Services for a Lawler man, 87 year old Jack McKone, are Saturday, November 2nd at 10:30am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic church in Lawler. Burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call 4-7pm Friday, November 1st at the church, and an hour before the service. Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton is in charge of the arrangements.

Services for a Readlyn man, 79 year old Larry Kuhlmann, are Friday at 10am at Immanuel Lutheran church, Klinger in rural Readlyn. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at the church, and an hour before services. Kaiser Corson funeral home in Readlyn is assisting the family.
