Services for a Waverly resident, 99 year old Lorena "Short" Arns, are Monday at 11am at St. Paul's Lutheran church and school in Waverly. Burial in St. Paul's Lutheran cemetery. Visitation is 4-6pm Sunday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for an Independence man, 95 year old Leo "Dewey" Donnelly, are Saturday at 10:30am at St. John Catholic church in Independence. Burial with full military rites in the church cemetery. Friends may call 4-7pm Friday at the church, and an hour before services. Leonard Grau funeral home is assisting the family.

A Westgate man, 63 year old Harvey Brown, died January 7th; a graveside service will be held Friday at 10:30am at the Washburn cemetery in Washburn, Iowa; inurnment in the Washburn cemetery. Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein is assisting the family.

Memorial services for a Charles City man, 79 year old James Fencl, are Saturday at 11am at Holy Trinity Parish in Protivin. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the church, followed by a celebration of life from 12:30 to 3pm at the community center in Protivin.

A former Ryan woman died Tuesday; services for 74 year old Carol Krapfl of Manchester, are pending at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester.
