May 1 funeral announcements

A Fredericksburg woman, 90 year old Patsy Lou Kocher, died Tuesday. No formal services will be held. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date. Hugeback Johnson funeral home in Fredericksburg is handling arrangements.

Services for a Waverly man, 20 year old Tristin Laue, are Saturday at 11am at Crosspoint church in Waverly. Burial in Harlington cemetery with full military rites. Visitation is 4-8pm Friday at the church, and an hour before services. Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly is assisting the family.

Services for a West Union woman, 77 year old Ellen Halverson, are Saturday at 11am at Madison Lutheran church in Decorah. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at Schluter Balik funeral home in Decorah, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Calmar woman, 85 year old Elsie Timp, are Thursday at 11am at St. Aloysius Catholic church in Calmar. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at Schluter Balik funeral home, French Chapel in Calmar, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Waverly man, 64 year old David Sturtz, are Saturday at 12pm at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly, with military honors. Visitation is an hour before services.

Graveside services for a former Arlington-area woman, 92 year old Mary "Pat" Nus, are Thursday, May 9th at 1:30pm at Taylorsville cemetery in rural Arlington. Friends may call at St. John Lutheran church in Arlington after the service. Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Arlington is assisting the family.
