March 18 funeral announcements

Note: Due to the spread of the covid 19 virus, some families have decided to alter, postpone or cancel family funeral services and visitations.

The family of a New Hampton man, 70 year old Larry Ronnei, is postponing his memorial service and visitation until a later date. Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton is handling the arrangements.

An Oelwein man, 72 year old Charles "Chuck" Tryon, died Monday. Due to virus concerns, a private service will be held. A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Leonard Muller funeral home in Strawberry Point is assisting the family.

A Strawberry Point man, 89 year old Harold Wessels, died Tuesday. Because of the corona virus concerns, there will be a private family funeral and burial at this time. A public Celebration of Life will be planned for this summer. Leonard Muller funeral home in Strawberry Point is assisting the family.

Previously planned services for an Edgewood resident, 89 year old Reginald "Bud" Gilbert, have been changed to a private family service. The change was made as a precaution to the Covid 19 outbreak.

An Oelwein man, 71 year old Dominic "Sqinto" Pirillo, died Monday. A memorial service, inurnment and celebration of life are planned for April 18th. Inurnment will be in Woodlawn cemetery. Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein is assisting the family.
