Jan. 8 funeral announcements

Services for a Harpers Ferry man, 42 year old Eric Troendle, are Saturday at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Catholic church in Lansing. Burial in Gethsemane cemetery. Visitation is 3-7pm Friday at Thornburg Grau funeral home in Lansing, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for an Oelwein man, 89 year old Peter Greco, are Friday at 11am at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein. Burial in Woodlawn cemetery, with military graveside services. Visitation is 3-5pm Thursday and an hour before services Friday at the funeral home.

A Marquette woman, 80 year old Judith Rodenberg, died Monday. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Thornburg Grau funeral home in McGregor is helping the family.

Services for a Castalia woman, 84 year old Jean Szabo, are Friday at 11am at Zion Lutheran church in Castalia. Burial in Bloomfield cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for an Independence woman, 70 year old Marcia Henderson, are Saturday at 10:30am at First Presbyterian church in Indepdence. Burial in Mt. Hope cemetery at a later date. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at White funeral home in Independence. A fellowship will follow the service at the Okoboji Bar and Grill in Independence.
