Jan. 13 funeral announcements

A Manchester man, 84 year old Donald Maurer, died Tuesday. A private family service will be held at St. Paul Lutheran church in Delaware. Burial in Oakland cemetery in Manchester. The service will also be posted on YouTube by Saturday evening.

Services for a former Charles City woman, 53 year old Sara Hemann of Cedar Falls, are Friday at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Catholic church. It will be live-streamed on the church's Facebook page. Burial in Oakwood cemetery in Floyd. Visitation is 5-7pm Thursday at Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City and an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for a Monona man, 73 year old Dean Bechtel, are Friday at 1:30pm at Zion United Church of Christ in Waukon. Friends may call from 12 noon until service time Friday at the church. Martin Grau funeral home in Waukon is handling the arrangements.

A Fredericksburg man, 66 year old Bruce Westendorf, died Tuesday. Services are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in Fredericksburg.

A New Hampton man, 53 year old Brian Oehlert, died Tuesday. Services are being made at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton.

A Floyd woman, 61 year old Starla Tindell, died Sunday. A public gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, 5-7pm at Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City. A private family memorial service will be held Saturday at the funeral home. It will be live-streamed on the funeral home's Facebook page Saturday at 11am.
