April 22 funeral announcements

A former Monona woman, 66 year old Sally Johanningmeier of Prairie du Chien, died Friday. A private burial service will be held in Monona. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona is assisting the family.

A Decorah woman, 83 year old Monica Steinlage, died Tuesday. Private Graveside services will be held at Our Lady of Seven Dolors cemetery in Festina. A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date. Schluter Balik funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

A Waverly woman, 86 year old Shirley Wehrhan, died Monday. There will be no public service at this time. A private visitation will be held at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly, with private services at Peace United Church of Christ in Waverly. Burial in Harlington cemetery.

A Decorah woman, 87 year old Marlene Adam, died Sunday. There will be no public memorial at this time. A service will be held at a later date. Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville is assisting the family.

An Edgewood man, 75 year old Henry "Hank" Bockenstedt, Jr., died Monday. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life at a later date. Leonard Muller funeral home in Edgewood is helping the family.

An Elma woman, 77 year old Genevieve "Jenny" Grover, died Monday at her cabin in Harpers Ferry. A private graveside service will be Thursday at 11am at Riverside cemetery in Riceville. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Conway Markham funeral home in Elma is assisting the family.
