Sept. 22 funeral announcements

A Nashua woman, 86 year old Alice Schilling, died Friday. A private family service will be held at a later date. Hugeback Johnson funeral home is handling arrangements.

Services for an Alta Vista man, 72 year old Dean Folkers, are Friday at 10:30am at St. Bernard's Catholic church in Alta Vista. Burial in Calvary cemetery. The service will be broadcast via Facebook live begging at 10:30am. Friends may call 4-7pm Thursday at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton with a 7pm parish scripture service, and an hour before the service at the church.

Services for a Manchester man, 86 year old Dennis Rolfes, are Thursday at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic church in Manchester. Burial in St. Joseph Catholic cemetery in Greeley. Visitation is 4-8pm Wednesday at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester, and from 9-10am Thursday at the funeral home.

Services for an Elma man, 83 year old Russell O'Donnell, are Wednesday at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception church in Elma. The service will also be available online via Facebook live. There will be military honors. Burial in St. Patrick of St. Cecelia cemetery in rural Elma. Visitation is 4-7pm Tuesday at Conway Markham funeral home in Elma, with a 7pm time of sharing, and an hour before services at the funeral home.

Services for a Decorah woman, 97 year old Olive Sims, are Thursday at 1pm at Schluter Balik funeral home in Decorah. Burial in Lutheran cemetery. Visitation is from 11am until service time Thursday at the funeral home.

A Cedar Rapids man, 57 year old Christopher Boffeli, died September 17th. Graveside services are Saturday, October 3rd at 1pm at S. Mark Catholic cemetery in Edgewood. Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester is assisting the family.

A Denver, Iowa woman, Shirley Kurtz, died Monday. A public viewing will be held Saturday, 9-11am at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Denver. A private family graveside service and burial will follow the viewing.
