Funeral services for a Waverly man, 100-year-old Boyd Kelly, formerly of Plainfield, will be held Friday at 10:30 AM at St. John Lutheran Church in Nashua, with interment in Willow Lawn Cemetery in Plainfield. Friends may greet the family Thursday from 4 to 6 PM at Hugeback Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory - Olson Chapel in Nashua. Visitation will also be held Friday one hour prior to services at the church.

Graveside services for an Independence man, 77-year-old Laurence W. "Larry" Falk, will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM at St. Francis Barclay Cemetery in rural Dunkerton. Friends and family may gather after 10 AM at the cemetery. Military rites will be performed by Peter Kress American Legion Post No. 636. White Funeral Home in Independence is in charge of arrangements.

An Oelwein man, 89-year-old John H. "Jack" Riley, Jr., formerly of Galena, Illinois, died Monday. Funeral services are pending at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home in Oelwein.

Funeral services for a Sumner woman, 102-year-old Leona Voss, formerly of Alpha, will be Thursday at 10:30 AM at St. John's Lutheran Church-Stapelton in rural Waucoma. Interment will follow at the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 PM at Becker-Milnes Funeral Home in Sumner, and Thursday one hour before the services at the church.

Funeral services for a Waukon woman, 96-year-old Kathleen Schulte, will be held Thursday at 11 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waukon. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, also in Waukon. Friends may call Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, where a scripture service will be held at 7 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial for a Marquette man, 83-year-old Norbert Joseph Hammes, will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church in McGregor. Burial will follow in St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, also in McGregor. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 to 7 PM at St. Mary Catholic Church, where there will be a 7 PM scripture service. Visitation will also be held Thursday one hour prior to services at the church.

Graveside services for a Monona man, LaVern Schrader, will be held Thursday at 1:30 PM at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Luana. Leonard-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Monona is helping the family with arrangements.
