Services for a Decorah man, 82 year old Donald Backes, are Saturday at 10:30am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic church in Ossian. Burial with military rites in the church cemetery. Friends may call 4-7pm Friday at the church, with a 3:45pm rosary. Schmitz Grau funeral home in Ossian is assisting the family.

Services for a Clarksville woman, 89 year old Virginia Busse, are Wednesday at 2pm at Immanuel United church of Christ in Clarksville. Visitation is 4-7pm Tuesday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly, with a 7pm Rebekah Lodge service, and an hour before services.

Services for a Waverly woman, 75 year old Patricia "Pat" Keeran, formerly of Plainfield, are Friday at 10:30am at Immanuel Lutheran church in Cedar Falls. Burial in Harlington cemetery in Waverly. Visitation is 4-6pm Thursday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for an Iowa Falls woman, 73 year old Judith Billington, are Thursday at 1:30pm at Hauser-Weishaar funeral home. Burial in Calvary cemetery in Charles City. Visitation is an hour before services.

Memorial services for an Oelwein man, 97 year old Robert Henderson, are Saturday at 10:30am at Geilenfeld-Buehner funeral home in Oelwein. Inurnment in Pleasant Hill cemetery near Coggon. Visitation is 4-6pm Friday at the funeral home, with Masonic services at 6pm, followed by military honors.

A Lawler man, 92 year old Clarence Mueterthies (Met-her-tees) died Monday. Services are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home.

Graveside services for a Nashua woman, 62 year old Kimberly Ann Johnson, are Thursday at 1pm at St. Boniface Catholic cemetery in Ionia. Hugeback Johnson funeral home-Olson Chapel in Nashua, is handling arrangements.

Services for a rural Waucoma man, 92 year old Lauren Costigan, are today, Tuesday at 10:30am at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic church in Lawler. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Hugeback Johnson funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
