Services for a Denver man, 95 year old Mervin Sassmann, formerly of Tripoli and Cedar Falls, are Friday at 11am at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Denver. Burial in Fairview cemetery. Visitation is from 9am until service time Friday at the church. Kaiser Corson funeral home in Denver is in charge of arrangements.

Services for a Luana man, 84 year old Milo Doerring, are Friday at 11am at St. John Lutheran church in Luana. Burial in St. Paul Lutheran cemetery in Monona. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona, and an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for a Manchester woman, 79 year old Jacqueline "Jackie" Gassmann, are Saturday at 10:30am at Community Congregational church in Manchester. Visitation is an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Waukon woman, 92 year old Doris Cunningham, are Saturday at 11am at St. Patrick Catholic church. Burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery, both in Waukon. Friends may call an hour before services at the church. Martin funeral home in Waukon is handling arrangements.

A Decorah man, 80 year old Donald Benda, died Saturday; a visitation will be held Friday from 2-4pm at Fjelstul funeral home in Decorah. Private family inurnment in Lutheran cemetery.

Services for a Postville woman, 93 year old Clara Mae Kruse, are Saturday at 11am at St. Bridget Catholic church in Postville. Burial in Postville cemetery. Visitation is 3-6pm Friday at Schutte Grau funeral home in Postville, and an hour before services at the church.
