Services for an Independence woman, 88 year old Josephine Ann "JoAnn" Esch, are Saturday at 10:30am at St. John's Catholic church in Independence. Burial in the church cemetery. Reiff Family Center is assisting the family.

A New Hampton woman, 89 year old Betty Snyder, died Monday. Services are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton.

An Oelwein woman, 83 year old Jane Campbell, died Monday. A private family memorial service will be held at Grace United Methodist church in Oelwein. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Public visitation is 3-6pm Friday at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein.

Services for a rural West Union man, 22 year old Logan Blue, are Saturday at 10:30am at St. Luke's Catholic church in St. Lucas. It will be livestreamed on the Becker Milnes and Rettig Facebook page. Inurnment at a later date. Visitation is 2-8pm Friday at the church, with a rosary at 1:30pm, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for an Independence woman, 93 year old Dorothy Mazur, are Thursday at 10:30am at St. John's Catholic church in Independence. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at White funeral home in Independence.

A Charles City man, 71 year old Virgil Schmitt, died Sunday. A private family graveside service will be held at St. Mary's Catholic cemetery in Roseville. Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City is handling arrangements.

Memorial services for a Lansing woman, 56 year old Julie Christensen, are Friday at 11am at St. Patrick Catholic church in Waukon. Burial in St. Mary's Hanover cemetery in rural Waukon. Martin Grau funeral home in Waukon is handling the arrangements.

A Garnavillo woman, 93 year old Kathleen Bockenstedt, died Monday. There will be private family services. Arrangements are being made at Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Guttenberg.

A Monona woman, 84 year old Rita Kregel, died Saturday. A private service will be held at St. Patrick Catholic church in Monona. Burial in the church cemetery. Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona is assisting the family.

There has been a change in an earlier funeral announcement: services for Linda Lou Moeller of Luana, have now been cancelled due to Covid-19 restrictions. There will be a private graveside service at Eno Cemetery in Luana. Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona is helping the family.

A Waverly man, 65 year old Steven Darrah, died Sunday. Services are Friday at 11am at Crosspoint church in Waverly; it will also be streamed on Kaiser Corson's Facebook page. Burial in Harlington cemetery, with military honors. A private family visitation will be held at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly.

In another funeral announcement change: 59 year old Kevin Shonka of Tripoli died Friday. There is no visitation, the memorial service will be private, and will be livestreamed on the St. Mary Catholic church Facebook page, Thursday at 10:30am.

An Elkader woman, 87 year old Joann Whittle, died Monday. A private graveside service will be held. Leonard Grau funeral home in Elkader is assisting the family.
