A Waverly man, 63 year old Brian "Itch" Kratchmer, died May 19. A celebration of life will be held Friday from 4-7pm at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly.

Memorial services for a Protivin man, 34 year old Thomas "Gimpy" Felcyn, are Saturday at 11am at Holy Trinity Catholic church in Protivin. Visitation is 5-8pm Friday at the church, with memory sharing at 7:30pm. Visitation is also an hour before services at the church.

A former Charles City man, 82 year old John Henry of Nora Springs, died Monday. A memorial service will be planned for later this summer. Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City is in charge of arrangements.

An Independence man, 93 year old Jerome "Jim" Wester, died on May 15. A private graveside service will be held at Westview cemetery in LaPorte City. A time of sharing will follow the service at Oak View Retirement Center in Independence.
