Services for a Decorah woman, 96 year old Corrine Thingvold, are Friday at 11am at st. John's Lutheran church at Locust. Burial in Locust cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Fjelstul funeral home in Decorah is serving the family.

A Garnavillo man, 83 year old Michael Masuen, died Saturday. Services are being arranged by Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Garnavillo. Private family services will be held at a later date.

Services for a rural Winthrop man, 69 year old Daniel Schmitt, are Monday (March 9) at 10:30am at St. Patrick's Catholic church in Winthrop. Burial in St. John's cemetery in Independence. Visitation is 3-7pm Sunday and 9am to 10am Monday at Fawcett-Schmitz funeral home in Winthrop.

Services for a former Colesburg and Edgewood man, 98 year old Clay Ash of Vinton, are Saturday at 11am at Trinity United Methodist church in Edgewood. Burial in Edgewood cemetery. Visitation is 9:30-10:45am Saturday at the church.

Services for an Oelwein man, 89 year old Dennis Athey, are Friday at 10:30am at St. John's Lutheran church in Fairbank. Burial with military rites in Fairbank cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Woods funeral home in Fairbank, and an hour before services at the church.
