March 24 funeral announcements

Note: With concerns about the possibility of spreading the covid 19 virus, many families have decided to postpone or make alternative arrangements for their loved one's funeral service.

A former Oelwein man, 84 year old Jerry Green of Marion, died Friday. A private family graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery in Oelwein. A private visitation will be held at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein.

A former Waverly woman, 55 year old Lori Hansen of Grundy Center, died Thursday. Funeral services will be private. Private Graveside services will be held Friday at Fairview cemetery in Denver, with a private family viewing before the services.

A Colwell man, 63 year old Ronald "Ron" Hoffman, died Saturday. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Hauser Weishaar funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

A New Hampton woman, 69 year old Linda Drewelow, died Monday. A private family funeral will be held Friday at 10:30am at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton. Burial in the New Hampton City cemetery. A private family visitation will be held Thursday evening at the funeral home.
