An Aurora man, 93 year old Byron Young, died Monday. Services are pending at Fawcett-Schmitz funeral home in Winthrop.

Services for a Manchester woman, 88 year old Arlene Wilhelm, are Friday at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic church in Manchester. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester, with a private family scripture at 3:30pm.

A McIntire man, 61 year old Randolph "Randy" Butterfield, died Friday. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11am at McIntire cemetery, with military rites. Conway Markham funeral home is handling the arrangements.

Services for a Stratford man, 85 year old Clair Bentley, are Friday at 2pm at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Arlington. Burial in Taylorsville cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday and an hour before services Friday, at the funeral home.

A former Oran woman, 82 year old Shirley Holub of Fairbank, died Monday. Services are Thursday at 1:30pm at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens in rural Oelwein. Visitation is 11am to 1:30pm Thursday at the funeral home.

A Garnavillo woman, 89 year old Shirley Swisher, died Monday. A private family service is being planned. Arrangements are being handled by Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Garnavillo.

Services for a Manchester man, 80 year old Merlyn Boge, are Thursday at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic church in Manchester, with military honors. Burial in St. Joseph Catholic cemetery in Greeley. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester, with a private family scripture at 3:30pm. Visitation is also from 9-10am Thursday at the funeral home.

A Colwell man, 81 year old William "Bill" Schneider, died Monday. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City is in charge of arrangements.
