Services for an Ossian man, 69 year old Monte Martin, are Friday at 11am at St. Francis de Sales Catholic church in Ossian. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at the church, and an hour before the service on Friday. Schluter Balik funeral home is handling the arrangements.

An Elkader woman, 97 year old Elaine "Sarge" Syverson, died May 4th. A committal service with military honors will be held Friday at 11am at Eastside cemetery in Elkader. A celebration of life will follow at Johnson's Restaurant in Elkader. Leonard Grau funeral home in Elkader is assisting the family.

Services for an Aurora man, 65 year old Jack Rusthoven, are Saturday at 11am at St. Peter's Lutheran church in Oran. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 5-8pm Friday at the Reiff Family center funeral home in Winthrop.

A former Nashua man, 94 year old Harry McKenzie of Denver, Colorado, died July 13th. Burial will be Saturday, August 7th at 12 noon, at Sunnyside Memory Gardens in Charles City. Hugeback Johnson funeral home-Olson Chapel in Nashua is handling the arrangements.

Services for a Waverly man, 90 year old Alfred "Al" Janssen, are Thursday at 11am at St. John Evangelical Lutheran church. Burial in Harlington cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for a Cedar Falls man, 81 year old Clinton "Clint" Place, are Wednesday at 10:30am at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Denver. Burial in St. Mary Catholic cemetery in Waverly. Visitation is 4-7pm Tuesday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Denver, and an hour before services.

Services for a Strawberry Point man, 85 year old Jack Junior Fridley, are today, Monday (July 26) at 10:30am at St. Mary Catholic church in Strawberry Point. Burial with military rites in Cass Township cemetery in Strawberry Point. Friends may call an hour before services at the church.

A Nashua woman, 57 year old Mary Tegtmeier, died July 16th. A visitation will be held today (Monday, July 26th) from 4-7pm at Hugeback Johnson funeral home-Olson chapel in Nashua.

A New Hampton man, 52 year old Bradley Lehman, died Friday. Services are pending at Hugeback Johnson funeral home in New Hampton.

Services for a Charles City woman, 89 year old Luella Barker, are Thursday at 1pm at Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City. Burial in Oakwood cemetery in Floyd. Visitation is an hour before the service at the funeral home.
