Services for a Decorah woman, 99 year old Pelagia Shimek, are Thursday at 10:30am at St. Benedict Catholic church in Decorah. Burial in Calvary cemetery in Cresco. Visitation is an hour before services at the church. Schluter Balik funeral home is handling arrangements.

A Luana woman, 82 year old Joyce Lange, died Sunday. There will be a private family memorial service. Leonard Grau funeral home in Monona is Assisting the family.

Services for an Independence woman, 80 year old Eileen Kirby, are Thursday at 10:30am at St. John's Catholic church in Independence. Burial in the church cemetery at a later date. Visitation is 5-7:30pm Wednesday at Reiff Family Center-Funeral home in Independence, with a parish vigil service at 7:30pm.

A Decorah man, 86 year old Robert "Slim" Gilbertson, died Sunday. Private family services will be Friday at Fjelstul funeral home in Decorah. Burial in Madison East cemetery.

Memorial services for a Decorah man, 93 year old Donald Halvorson, are Saturday at 11am at Decorah Lutheran church. Inurnment in Hauge Lutheran cemetery in rural Decorah. Visitation is an hour before services at the church.

A Manchester man, 61 year old Randall Brade, died Monday. Services are pending at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester.

Services for a Sumner man, 41 year old B.J. Hesse, are Tuesday, July 21st, at 11am at St. John Lutheran church in Sumner. Visitation is 2-8pm Monday, July 20th, at the church, and an hour before the service. Becker Milnes funeral home in Sumner is assisting the family.

Private family memorial services for a former Dorchester man, 91 year old Leon Schoh of Waukon, will take place Saturday in Dorchester. Burial in Mt. Hope cemetery in Dorchester. Martin funeral home in Waukon is handling the arrangements.

Services for a Janesville woman, 52 year old Ann Christianson, are Friday at 2pm at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at the funeral home and an hour before the service.

A Garnavillo woman, 99 year old Irene Peake, died Saturday. A private family graveside service and burial will be held. Leonard Grau funeral home in Elkader is assisting the family.

A Decorah man, 84 year old Gerald "Jerry" McEnaney, died Friday, July 10th. Due to Covid 19, there will be a service held one year from his death, on July 10th of 2021 at St. Benedict Catholic church in Decorah. Schluter Balik funeral home is handling the arrangements.
