Services for a Manchester man, 88 year old Francis Hermsen, are Saturday at 11am at St. Mary Catholic church in Manchester, with a Knights of Columbus rosary at 10:30am. Burial in St. Mary Catholic cemetery in Masonville. Visitation is 2-7pm Friday at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester, with a private family scripture service at 1pm; friends may also call from 9:30am to 10:45am Saturday at the church.

A Celebration of Life for a Hiawatha woman, 55 year old Lynn Marie Tangen, will be held at 11am Saturday at Stavanger Lutheran church in Ossian. Inurnment in the church cemetery. Visitation is an hour before the service at the church. Schmitz Grau funeral home in Ossian is helping the family.

Memorial services for a Harmony, Minnesota man, 54 year old Brett "Harry" Jarland, are Friday at 11am at Greenfield Lutheran church; burial in Greenfield cemetery. Friends may call 4-7pm Thursday at Lindstrom funeral home in Harmony, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Charles City man, 75 year old Ronald Roethler, are Friday at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Catholic church. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City.

An Edgewood man, 94 year old Merle Woerdehoff, died Monday; services will be held at a later date. Leonard Muller funeral home is handling arrangements.

Services for a former Denver man, 78 year old Larry Boyce of Waverly, are Monday (Jan. 27) at 10:30am at St. John Lutheran church-Maxfield, in Denver. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-6pm Sunday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Denver, and an hour before services at the church.

A Fayette woman, 93 year old Doris Rademaker, died Sunday. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Burnham Wood Grau funeral home in West Union is helping the family.

Services for a Waverly woman, 87 year old Delores Boevers, are Friday at 10:30am at St. John Lutheran church of Crane Creek in rural Tripoli. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly and an hour before services at the church.
