Dec. 1 funeral announcements

A Charles City man, 86 year old Gordon Jung, died Monday. A private graveside service will be held at Calvary cemetery in Charles City.

A Garnavillo woman, 95 year old Betty "Jean" Urlaub, died Monday. A family service will be held Friday at 2pm at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran church in Garnavillo. It will be live-streamed on the church's Facebook page. Services are being handled by Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Garnavillo.

An Independence woman, 94 year old Bernadine Stanford, died Saturday. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Reiff Family Center-Funeral home in Independence is assisting the family.

A Guttenberg man, 84 year old David Pont, died Monday. There will be a private family service and burial. Tuecke Allyn funeral home in Guttenberg is handling the arrangements.
