Dec. 11 funeral announcements

A 92 year old woman from Greene died Thursday (Dec. 6); a celebration of life for Nadine Busching, will be held Saturday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly, with a visitation from 9:30-11am, and the funeral immediately following. Burial in Rose Hill cemetery.

Memorial services for a Manchester woman, 97 year old Gail Carpenter, are Friday at 10:30am at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester. Inurnment in Oakland cemetery. Visitation is an hour before services.

A celebration of life for a longtime Oelwein businessman, 88 year old Robert "Bob" Ruark, will be Friday at 11am at Geilenfeld funeral home in Oelwein, with a reception to follow.

An Elkader man, 86 year old Don Reese, died Saturday; a memorial service will be held at a later date. Leonard Grau funeral home in Elkader is assisting the family.

Services for a St. Lucas woman, 93 year old Irma Luzum, are Monday at 10:30am at St. Luke's Catholic church in St. Lucas. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 2-5pm Sunday at the church, with a rosary and scipture starting at 1:45pm. Visitation is also an hour before services at the church. Schluter Balik dunral home in Decorah is handling arrangements.
