Aug. 4 funeral announcements

Services for a Readlyn man, 100 year old Wilbert Huebner, are Friday at 10:30am at Immanuel Lutheran church of Klinger. Burial in the church cemetery with military rites. Visitation is an hour before services. The service will also be livestreamed on the church Facebook page. Kaiser Corson funeral home in Readlyn is assisting the family.

Graveside services for an Independence woman, 78 year old Jodeen Fitz, are Friday at 11am at Greenwood Cemetery in rural Westgate. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Oelwein.

A Strawberry Point woman, 56 year old Michelle Schlee, died Sunday. Services are pending at Leonard Muller funeral home in Strawberry Point.

Services for a Nashua woman, 79 year old Evelyn Fisher, are Friday at 10:30am at United Methodist church in Nashua. Burial at a later date. Friends may call 4-7pm Thursday at Hugeback Johnson funeral home-Olson Chapel in Nashua, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Waverly man, 81 year old Ronald Brandt, are Friday at 2pm at Trinity United Methodist church in Waverly. Burial in Harlington cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at the church, and an hour before the service. Kaiser Corson funeral home in Waverly is handling the arrangements.

A rural Riceville woman, 86 year old Mary Joan Myers, died Saturday. A private family graveside service will be held at St. Peter's Lutheran church cemetery, south of Riceville.

Services for a former Otterville man, 89 year old Alfred Lee of Brandon, are Thursday at 11am at Reiff Family Center funeral home in Independence. Burial in Floral Hills Memorial Garden in rural Hazelton. Visitation is 4-7pm Wednesday at Reiff Family Center.
