Services for a New Hampton woman, 74 year old Carol Anderson, are Friday at 10:30am at Redeemer Lutheran church in New Hampton. Burial in Jerico Lutheran cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Conway Markham funeral home in New Hampton, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a Tripoli woman, 83 year old Betty Lou Schwake, are Friday at 11am at St. John Lutheran church-Spring Fountain, in rural Sumner. Private family burial will be held before the service, at St. Paul's Lutheran church cemetery-Siegel in rural Tripoli. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Rettig funeral home in Tripoli, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for a New Hampton woman, 84 year old Joyce Schilling, are Friday at 2pm at Immaculate Conception church in North Washington. Burial in St. Mary's cemetery in New Hampton. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at the Holy Family Parish Gathering Space in New Hampton with a 7pm Scriptural Wake. Friends may also call an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for a Waterloo man, 39 year old James "Slayer" DeBower, are Saturday at 5pm at Hauser Weishaar funeral home in Charles City. A gathering of friends and family will take place 1:30-4pm Saturday at the funeral home.

A Manchester woman, 78 year old Joan Heyer, died Monday. Services are pending at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester.

Services for a Charles City man, 70 year old Alvin Fisher, are Thursday at 10:30am at Saint John Evangelical Lutheran church in Charles City. Burial in Riverside cemetery. Visitation is 5-7pm Wednesday at Hauser Weishaar funeral home, and an hour before services at the church.

Services for an Independence man, 82 year old Larry Wright, are Thursday at 11am at the Reiff Family center funeral home in Independence. Visitation is 5-8pm Wednesday at the funeral home.

A Celebration of Life for an Independence woman, 69 year old Constance "Connie" Sorg, will be held Saturday from 1pm to 3pm at Riverwalk Park in Independence. The Reiff Family center funeral home in Independence is assisting the family.

An Elgin man, 68 year old Steven Hermen, died Saturday. A private graveside service will be held at Elgin cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Leonard Grau funeral home in Elgin.
