An Independence woman, 73-year-old Ann Marie Stainbrook, died Sunday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:30 AM at St. John's Catholic Church in Independence. Reiff Family Center - Funeral Home and Crematory in Independence is assisting the family.

An Ionia resident, 19-year-old Jace Cajthaml, died July 30th. Friends may greet the family Thursday from 3 to 8 PM at Hugeback-Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory in New Hampton.

A Decorah woman, 88-year-old Ardith Triska, died Sunday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11 AM at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Decorah, with burial in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday after 10 AM at the church. Schluter-Balik Funeral Home in Decorah is handling arrangements.

A McGregor man, 69-year-old Mark Allen Laufer, died Sunday. There are no services planned at this time. Thornburg-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service of McGregor is assisting the family with arrangements.

Services for a Waukon woman, 77-year-old Marjean Fahey, are Wednesday at 11 AM at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Waukon, with burial in Mount Olivet Cemetery, also in Waukon. Friends may call Wednesday from 9 AM until service time at the church. Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon is handling arrangements.

A Quasqueton man, 61-year-old Martin "Marty" Kress, died Sunday. Private family services will be held at Fawcett-Schmitz Funeral Home in Winthrop, with interment in Quasqueton Cemtery. The family will host a Celebration of Life on Friday from 1 to 3 PM at Walfey's Wapsi Outback in Quaqueton.

An Independence woman, 61-year-old Betsy Scheer, died July 29th. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 1 PM at the Reiff Family Center - Funeral Home and Crematory in Independence.
