Services for a Calmar woman, 96 year old Laura Kuboushek, are Saturday at 10:30am at St. Wenceslaus Catholic church in Spillville. Burial in the church cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at the church, and an hour before the service at the church. Schluter Balik funeral home is handling the arrangements.

Services for a Manchester man, 93 year old John Tegeler, are Saturday at 12:30pm at St. Mary Catholic church in Manchester. Burial with military rites in the church cemetery. Visitation is 3-7pm Friday at Leonard Muller funeral home in Manchester.

Services for a Waterloo woman, 87 year old Nannette "Nan" Thies, are Friday at 10:30am at Good Shepherd Lutheran church in Waterloo. Burial in Mt. Vernon Township cemetery. Visitation is 4-7pm Thursday at Kaiser Corson funeral home in Denver and an hour before services at the church.

Memorial services for a former Strawberry Point man, 86 year old Duane Schroeder of Dyersville, are Saturday at 2pm at Jamison Schmitz funeral home in Arlington, with military honors. Inurnment at a later date at Grandview cemetery in Fayette. Visitation is 4-7pm Friday at the funeral home, and an hour before services Saturday.
